“”Dear World, I have something delightful to share with you today. It is this: it is raining today. Thank God. Thank You God. It is raining again today. When it rains, the rains inviolate. Rain inviolates the process and production of getting high. Is that not delightful? Is that not peace? Is that not relief? I say, “Yes!” I say, “Thanks!” I say, “Thanks to the Rain, to the World, and to you!” Now, I don’t have to fight to breathe, to walk, to sing, to laugh, to enjoy the day because you world have made it rain.  Delightful. Just Delightful. I think i’ll go look for wet cigarette butts to collect and dry just for the hell of it. i gave up smoking yesterday. i dont like it. but butts i like collecting you. i think that when i die i will have put it my will that all my cigarette packs and butts go to the Smithsonian. No one collects them but me. So, thank you Rain for the treat today of not have to fight to be delightful like you are today, thank you world and your delightful rains.” Copyright (c) 2013 by Mike Kerasotes”
